Your donation to Specsavers Central London Charity Walk

On 22nd June, partners and colleagues across our Central London Specsavers branches will embark on a walking tour of 22 Stores in the Central London Region, travelling a total distance of 30 miles.

We are carrying out this walk to raise money for two fantastic charities;

RSBC believe every blind child and their family should have the skills and confidence they need to live their life without limits. We work with blind children and young people and their families to develop the skills they need to overcome the barriers to realising their hopes, dreams and ambitions.

Today there are an estimated 44,000 blind and partially sighted children in England and Wales. Every day, four more children will be diagnosed with sight loss.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid allows UK charities to claim back the basic rate of tax already paid on donations by a donor when that donor is a UK tax payer. This means that we can claim 25p back from the government on your behalf for every £1 donated, boosting the value of your donation by a quarter.

Please note that donations from My Giving accounts aren’t eligible for Gift Aid.
