Specsavers Central London Charity Walk

On 22nd June, partners and colleagues across our Central London Specsavers branches will embark on a walking tour of 22 Stores in the Central London Region, travelling a total distance of 30 miles.
We are carrying out this walk to raise money for two fantastic charities;
RSBC believe every blind child and their family should have the skills and confidence they need to live their life without limits. We work with blind children and young people and their families to develop the skills they need to overcome the barriers to realising their hopes, dreams and ambitions.
Today there are an estimated 44,000 blind and partially sighted children in England and Wales. Every day, four more children will be diagnosed with sight loss.

The National Deaf Children’s Society, the leading charity for deaf children. We give expert support on childhood deafness, raise awareness and campaign for deaf children’s rights, so they have the same opportunities as everyone else.
Our plan is to visit the following stores starting from Kilburn; Queensway, Shepherds Bush, Hammersmith, Fulham, Kensington Cromwell Road, Victoria, Pimlico, Tottenham Court Road, Brunswick Strand, Holborn, London Wall, Bishopsgate, Whitechapel, Bethnal Green, Hackney, Dalston, Islington & Camden Town, Swiss Cottage & Golders Green.
Thank you to all the partners and colleagues taking part, we would also like to thank each and every one of you for supporting our fundraising efforts and helping us reach our target!!
