Chez Bondonno’s Skydive for BHF on World Heart Day
A message from Chez:
On the 29th of September, World Heart Day, I will be stepping out of my comfort zone and leaping into the sky for a skydiving adventure. I'm doing this to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation, Royal Mail’s national charity partner, and I would be honoured if you could join me in supporting their incredible work.
As some of you may know, heart-related issues have impacted my family in profound ways. Tragically, my stepfather lost his life due to a heart attack caused by an initial blood clot. Along with numerous family members suffering from heart conditions. Witnessing the devastating consequences first-hand has motivated me to take action and contribute to the fight against heart disease.
Moreover, as a senior leader in the Royal Mail Group, I am proud to work for an organisation that partners with the British Heart Foundation as its charity partner and support the Great Big Fundraising Challenge and my team, Team London United. Together, we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of those affected by heart conditions. Your contribution can make a tangible impact in helping to fund the Community Hearts Programme.
- Patient Care: BHF provides vital resources and support to individuals and families affected by heart conditions, ensuring they receive the care and guidance they need throughout their journey. Most recently Royal Mail colleagues fundraising has made it possible for their Heart Helpline, manned by cardiac nurses, to become free to call.
- Heart Health Education: BHF raises awareness about heart disease, educating communities in how to do CPR and use defibs and empowering individuals to make heart-healthy choices that can prevent future complications.
By sponsoring my skydiving adventure, you will not only honour the memory of my stepfather and any person whom has suffered, but also provide hope and support to countless individuals facing similar challenges. Your generosity, no matter the amount, on World Heart Day, will make a difference and help BHF continue their life-saving work.
With heartfelt gratitude, Chez
