About us:
The team of Bupa Dental Care Southey Green are taking part in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 29/04/2023. Our aim is to finish this in 12 hours in order to raise money for two local charities - Emmaus Sheffield and Flourish Sheffield.
About the charities:
Emmaus supports people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work, training, support and a stable home for as long as someone needs it. Emmaus Sheffield is a drug and alcohol free project. Providing a home, support and work for homeless people through our large secondhand superstore. Emmaus Sheffield has already transformed the lives of 280 people so far!
Sheffield Flourish is a local charity which works collaboratively on innovative digital and community projects centred on mental health. They recognise the strengths of people who have experienced mental health challenges. Within the city, they support six community enterprises who run regular sessions including a football team, a creative arts enterprise and a gardening initiative. Flourish has over 300 success stories so far!
