UPDATE (09 Sept) The event has been postponed as a mark of respect to Her Majesty.

On Saturday, 10th September we’re having an event to raise funds and promote our club.

We aim to row 1,000,000 metres on ergos (rowing machines).

This is an ambitious challenge – it’s the same distance as Chester to Switzerland – so we’ll

need to pull together as a club to do this.

What’s the plan?

Starting 7am, with ergos down on the Groves, club members will row. We'll provide updates through the day on our Instagram page "royalsbigrow".

We’ll also be offering members of the public the opportunity to hop on an ergo and take part in a 250 metre challenge, complete the distance to be entered into a prize draw. Prizes = a £10 Snugburys voucher, £20 Hickory's voucher and a goody bag from Square Blades.
