HMS Queen Elizabeth to Japan

As HMS Queen Elizabeth and the Carrier Strike Group undertake their first deployment, over 200 military personnel from 617 Sqn (Dambusters), VMFA211 (USMC), Carrier Strike Group Battle Staff, and HMS Queen Elizabeth Ship’s Company will be racing HMS Queen Elizabeth to Japan. The aim is beat the ship to Japan by completing 13700 miles before the ship reaches Japan. This will be achieved by running, rowing, walking, cycling, skiing (machine) our way to Japan. The team consisting of Royal Air Force, Royal Navy, United States Navy, United States Marine Corps will be looking to raise funds for both UK and US charities which support military personnel; the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund, Royal Navy Royal Marines Charity and Navy Marine Corps Relief Society.
