Walking Land's End to John O'Groats

On the 31st of March I am packing my backpack, boarding the sleeper train to Penzance and setting off on a 1,100 mile long walk from the south-western corner to the north-eastern tip of the mainland of the UK.
The walk will take around 80 days, exposed to the great British weather, walking 15 miles a day and camping along the way.
The Route
As well as taking on the challenge, I am raising money for two great causes:
Almost two years ago, my dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer, and is currently receiving treatment. There have been some tough moments for me and my family during the last two years, and this will be my source of motivation when the rain is pouring, blisters are throbbing and back is aching.
Prostate Cancer UK enable research, awareness and support for the 1 in 8 men who get prostate cancer.
The Against Malaria Foundation provide and distribute malaria nets in areas of the world at a high-risk from malaria.
It is consistently rated as one of the most cost-effective charities for saving lives and donations directly combat preventable deaths that overwhelmingly affect children under 5.
Please donate what you can, follow me along the way and reach out if you want to support by joining for a day or two!
