Your donation to BHF London Marathon 2025

Benjamin Zankl will be taking on the London Marathon 2025 and raising lifesaving money for British Heart Foundation.

Benjamin works as a Customer Operations Manager for Royal Mail Bude Delivery office in north Cornwall. He is also an HM Coastguard Rescue Officer for the HMCG Bude Search and Rescue Team where he serve as a rope rescue technician, flood rescue technician and a search technician team leader. Benjamin keeps himself fit by running the rugged, steep north Cornish coastline and rural hinterlands and have taken part in various races and mountain marathons over past years.

He has always wanted to run the London Marathon ever since he was a small boy having watched his dad run it a couple of times in the mid 80s when he was a postman in Hampshire! Having the opportunity through Royal Mail to support the work of BHF through taking part in the marathon is very important to Benjamin, as in his former role as a South West Ambulance Service Community First Responder and current role as a Coastguard Rescue Officer, he’s seen and experienced firsthand how important heart health is to us all, particularly from attending to patients suffering heart attacks and cardiac arrests in call-outs as an emergency services responder over the years. Benjamin said ‘The work BHF do is invaluable, and I am so pleased we, the Royal Mail team across the board are supporting them as much as we are able.’

Please support Benjamin is taking on this challenge and raising life saving funds for BHF!

Thank you!
