Your donation to Operation TeePee

Fundraising to support good causes across the north west and beyond is built into Napthens’ DNA; it’s part of our culture and one that is embraced by all colleagues.

We do this through the Napthens Foundation, a charity set up in April 2021 to provide relief to those in need by way of education, youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages

It is partnered with and administered by the Charities Trust and together we’ve raised and donated more than £50,000 since the foundation’s inception.

Every year, to support our collective fundraising effort, we embark on an outdoor challenge and this year we’ll be tackling the Chorley Three Peaks.

We’ll be doing it this year in memory of our colleague Sana Hussain, a member of the Napthens’ family who sadly passed away last year.

Sana was well-regarded colleague and team member, working as a legal assistant in our residential conveyancing team, and her passing deeply saddened us all.

Since then, we have been working with her family to understand an appropriate way to remember and honour Sana’s life. As such, we are raising funds for Lupus UK (through the Napthens Foundation), a charity close to the hearts of Sana’s family.

The walk will take place on Saturday 8th June and will see us walk almost 12 miles and climb almost 2,300ft.

We will start in White Coppice near Chorley and take in the three peaks on the Rivington Moor; Great Hill, Winter Hill, and Rivington Pike.

As a firm we appreciate your support, and to those taking part in this challenge and we wish our team the best of luck.

Among the beneficiaries of the Napthens Foundation has been almost 1,500 children across primary schools in Blackpool, Blackburn, Preston and Chorley who were provided with mental wellbeing support through the children’s mental wellbeing organisation, myHappymind.

The Stroke Association and Blackburn Rovers Community Trust (BRCT) both received more than £3,000 after one of our partners, Oli McCann, plunged into the waters of England’s biggest lake and swam 10km.

And our annual charity clay pigeon shoot raised more than £5,000 for Blackburn & Darwen Youth Zone, to help children and young adults across the region.
