Your donation to Brighton to Eastbourne South Downs Way Walk for Pathways to Health

Did you know?

That Brighton and Hove has a unique charity called Pathways to Health, providing affordable ear acupuncture clinics, that are open to all, that this is a service not replicated anywhere else in the country, and that this charity has been operating at various locations across the city over the past 30 years.

Ear acupuncture is a holistic therapy based on traditional Chinese medicine, that anyone can benefit from, but is particularly helpful for those people facing mental health challenges, addiction issues, cravings, and chronic health ailments.

We provide a safe space that is easily accessible to all, and where people can come in,  have a refreshing cup of detox tea, some revitalising ear acupuncture, and all in a peaceful, calm, friendly, and non judgemental environment.

For some this space has literally been a life saver.

But we have a problem.

Owing to a loss of statutory funding, we are now in a difficult financial position, and it is no longer a given that we can carry on indefinitely.

So I have decided to do something that I frequently do when the going gets tough….

Walk! 🚶

Following the beautiful South Downs Way, I shall start in Brighton on the 11th July, stay at a YHA overnight near Lewes, set off the following morning towards Littlington tea gardens for lunch, and a finish in Eastbourne….hopefully in time for a Knickerbocker Glory at my favourite cafe near the Winter Garden, Favolosso, before a bus journey back to Brighton on the 12th July

If you have read this far then thank you.

But I hope you will also consider sponsoring me to complete my walk for this amazing charity.

I realise that times are hard, but any amount that you can spare, however small, would be very much appreciated. If you can’t spare any cash, then good vibes for my walk are also very welcome!

Thanks again, and now time for me to get training!
