Your donation to 2026 Thomas Hopkins Charity Bike Ride

On the 5th of June, a small group of questionable athletes, powered mostly by stubbornness, snacks and blind optimism, will be setting off from Anfield Football Stadium on a three-day cycle ride back to the Swansea.com Stadium.

Over 3 days and roughly 230 miles, (the long way 😒) a mix of brave (and possibly slightly unhinged) men and women will attempt to pedal their way from Liverpool to Swansea. There will be hills, sore legs, suspicious saddle discomfort, and at least one person questioning their life choices somewhere around the Welsh border.

This ride is also a memorial ride for our friend, colleague, and genuinely lovely person Thomas Hopkins, who sadly passed away from cancer 10 years ago. Riding in his memory makes every mile that little bit more meaningful.

We will of course be doing our best to avoid pubs along the way… although morale-boosting hydration strategies may need to be reviewed if things get desperate.

All of this Lycra-clad suffering is in support of The Lymphoma Leukaemia Myeloma Fund Wales, an incredible charity supporting families affected by blood cancers.

If you could spare a few pounds, euros, dollars, or the odd ancient coin you find down the back of the sofa, we’d be hugely grateful. It will make every mile, ache, wobble and questionable tan line worthwhile.

Thank you for the support 🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️
