The Idea
The concept is, in essence, a simple one: Ideally, buy a road-legal car for under £500 and hit Europe’s greatest roads and cities for four days en route to Monte Carlo via Ghent, Strasbourg, Innsbruck and Milan. We will all be in fancy dress to match the theme of our car, and will complete challenges along the way, have plenty of laughs and lots of fun – and all in aid of charity.
We have a range of sponsorship tiers available from £50 to £300. Your logo can join us on the trip of a lifetime through the UK and Europe, and all to raise money for four deserving causes.
The Charities
British Heart Foundation fund around £100 million of research into heart and circulatory diseases and their causes. They not only fund research, but influence government policy to help tackle health inequality and fund a heart helpline to help people living with heart and circulatory diseases to get the best guidance, support and access to the services they need.
CRASH unites the construction industry by channelling the professional expertise, construction products and donations of our Corporate Patrons and supporters to: Transform accommodation for homeless people across the UK; Create caring environments where children and adults who need end of life care in a hospice can spend precious time together with their families; Deliver meaningful social impact between companies and charities to create a more caring society and deliver long-lasting benefits in communities across the UK.
The Rainy Day Trust is here to help those who have fallen on hard times, and support people who have worked in the home improvement and enhancement industries. They provide support, help and training in a number of ways- whether this is a with little help covering the bills, or helping you to help yourself with additional training and support.
Variety, The Children's Charity provides practical support that makes an immediate difference to disabled and disadvantaged youngsters, allowing them to live their best lives and reach their full potential. They provide: Grants for specialist disability equipment and wheelchairs that aren’t available through government services; Adapted, accessible transport for SEND schools and other non-profit organisations with their famous Sunshine Coaches; Memorable day trips and outings through their Great Days Out programme.
