Montane Spine Summer Challenger South

The British Heart Foundation is not just a worthy cause but one that means a lot to me and my family, my Dad has lived with heart disease for over 25 years. Unfortunately my Dad has lost his battle with heart disease and sadly passed away on 16th March 2023.
Any donation would be greatly appreciated and every pound really does help.
Last year i completed 6 Ultra Marathons and this year i have 6 more planned including the 108 mile Spine Challenger in June, in preparation for the main event i will be competing in the following:
March - Chester Ultra and Sheffield Half Marathon. DONE ✔️
April - Manchester to Liverpool Ultra. DONE ✔️
May - Pennine Barrier Ultra DNF and Leeds Half Marathon. DONE ✔️
JUNE - Montane Summer Spine Challenger South.
The Montane Summer Spine Challenger South is a non-stop, 110 mile race along the Pennine Way from Edale to Hardraw. The race covers a beautiful section of the trail which features the iconic moorland of the Kinder Plateau, numerous National Parks, Malham Cove and Pen-y-Ghent to name a few. This challenging and technical section of the Pennine Way is a physically and psychologically demanding route that demands concentration, good physical fitness, resolve and respect. The Challenger South is a notoriously difficult event in its own right and should be considered as having a similar degree of difficulty as the full Montane Summer Spine. It is a very exposed and challenging route with summer temperatures fluctuating from over 25°C during the day dropping to 0°C overnight.
The Montane Summer Spine Challenger South retains our ethos of day and night racing, self-reliance and self-management. This is what sets this race apart from others. Part of the adventure of taking on a challenge of this magnitude is building the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure you are safe in a time of need.
