Your donation to 100 Challenge

I was diagnosed in 2018 with AERD or Samters Triad which is a chronic respiratory condition which led to Anosmia (due to nasal polyps ) and daily medication  . This led me to change my westernised diet and lifestyle.

But nearly 5 years on now with my sense of smell(returned via surgery in 2019)  , also the lifestyle and diet changes now means I’m 18months off all medication  and grateful everyday for the connection to the world with sense of smell and my passion for adventure running in the trails.

I accidentally took up running and it helped the condition and it’s part of my daily regime to manage the condition. I have had adventures and challenges along the way but one charity offered support and advice this was Fifth sense the charity for smell and taste disorders.

This year I’m raising funds for them with my toughest challenge yet

The 100 challenge is to complete 100km race in April 26th Chiltern hills 100km and my very first 100 miler with Beautifully Brutal Event Wales Ultra Trail running along the coast line on 4th July.

There is just over two months between events and I aiming to raising £1000 for the charity so every little helps.

Now if you want further information on my story there’s is links below one being on the Fifth sense Charity page which if you are suffering from Anosmia you can get signposting to the correct advice.
