Your donation to Glasgow Mail Centre - The Mega Marathon 2025


This September, we are challenging all Mail Centres to race to complete 2,600 miles, the equivalent of visiting each Mail Centre from Inverness to Truro.


Walk, run, row, roller-skate or cycle your way to victory, all while raising funds for BHF!


Every mile matters. Share your Mail Centre’s fundraising page and QR code and challenge your team to push the limits.


To hit your target:


• Get all those taking part in a leg to get sponsored for their efforts


• Get baking to keep colleagues energised while completing their leg (or spectating!)


• Hold a raffle or prize draw during the challenge to boost the funds


• Play on the marathon theme and get colleagues to support the challenge by coming in to work in their sports gear for a small donation


We are also encouraging Parcel Hubs and Mail Centres to contribute to their sites page in July and August as part of the GBFC 2025!

Gift Aid

Gift Aid allows UK charities to claim back the basic rate of tax already paid on donations by a donor when that donor is a UK tax payer. This means that we can claim 25p back from the government on your behalf for every £1 donated, boosting the value of your donation by a quarter.

  • The organisation receiving the donation is a charity registered with the English Charity Commission, Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator, Charity Commission of Northern Ireland, or is exempt from registration.

  • You are not sponsoring a relative who has received a contribution towards their event costs, for example, the donor is fundraising overseas and the charity has paid for their travel.
  • You will not receive a benefit from making the donation in accordance with the requirements of the Gift Aid scheme.
